Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial ones. No partner, advertiser or affiliate programme sees content before publication, approves content, or has any right of review. No one can buy a position, a favourable description, or the removal of a criticism.

Who writes this

Content is produced by the Bibles.id editorial team, which researches, drafts and reviews each page against this policy and our sourcing policy. We do not claim credentials we do not hold, and we do not invent an author to look more authoritative. Where a subject genuinely requires a qualified person, we say so and help you prepare for that conversation rather than substituting for it.

Fairness

Where people who know a subject well disagree, we present the disagreement rather than resolving it in our own voice. We read positions at their strongest, not at their most convenient. We do not caricature a tradition, a discipline, or a sceptic.

Language we do not use

We do not write “guaranteed”, “proven to”, “cure”, “miracle”, “secret”, or any phrasing that implies an outcome we cannot know. We do not use shame. We do not use urgency devices. We do not tell anyone that a practice failed because they did not believe hard enough.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us through the contact form and choose “Correction”. We fix errors in place and note material corrections on the page.

How we handle religious content

Religious material carries a higher standard of care than general writing, and we hold ourselves to it explicitly.

• We never invent Scripture, doctrine, a saying of a religious figure, a saint, a council, a denominational position, a piece of church history, or a citation. If we cannot source it, we do not publish it.
• Every teaching is attributed to the tradition that holds it. We do not write “Christianity teaches” for a position some Christians reject.
• We distinguish established teaching, official denominational teaching, historical fact, scholarly interpretation, traditional interpretation, and personal reflection — and we say which one a passage is.
• Scripture is quoted only from public-domain or appropriately licensed texts, and the translation is always named, because the wording differs and the difference sometimes matters.
• We are not clergy, we do not speak for any church, and we hold no teaching office. Nothing here is a substitute for your own community, minister, priest or teacher.
